Christopher Harris

Best known for the soft, painterly effects in his highly abstract compositions, photographer Christopher Harris often employs a hand-constructed pinhole camera and long exposures. Capturing subtle gradations of color, Harris’ subjects include the Palouse region’s agrarian expanses, the “Tallgrass” prairie of the America West, twilight scenes of the Skagit Valley, Cape Cod and Southern California seascapes, and urban gardens of Seattle.
