Although we rarely take on new artists, we review work in April and October, with our principal interest being artists from the West Coast of the U.S. We generally do not return CDs, printed postcards, brochures, and biographical materials, but will send back slides and special print-outs if you include a self addressed stamped envelope.  If a personal web site is current and highly developed, send an email with Artist Submission in the subject line and we can review that in lieu of a physical portfolio package. The web site should include a biography indicating any exhibition history and education, and a statement about the work, if relevant.

While the gallery would love to exhibit many artists as it learns of their work, it must nevertheless honor existing artist contracts.  Constraints of space and our program of 12 to 16 exhibitions annually limit our ability to take on as many new artists as we would like.  Our exhibitions schedule is determined about 18 months ahead.  We appreciate the opportunity to become familiar with new work, and it is through our contacts with other galleries, institutions, artists, and clients that, over time, we make decisions about who to represent.
